The Hospital Estates and Facilities Statistics is the national data warehouse for England extracted from collections within the EFM Information system for the following returns ERIC (Estates Return Information Collection) and PLACE (Patient Led Assessments of the Care Environment) which are collected and published here by the HSCIC on behalf of the Department of Health. The data provided enables the analysis of Estates & Facilities information from reporting organisations in England. The data is as provided by NHS organisations and has not been amended. The accuracy and completeness is the responsibility of the reporting organisations.
Standard reports providing the full data set, as returned by individual organisations can be downloaded via the Data Files tab.
This website provides easy access to comprehensive information on the physical quality of the buildings as well as the estates and facilities management services provided along with how the environment supports patient's privacy & dignity, non-clinical services such as cleanliness and food.
This reporting service is designed to offer a standard view of national data.
